Japan Art "Kaga Uzen " : Kaga Yuzen is a traditional hand-dyeing technique for silk. You will be dying a handkerchief as one of your hands on activity! The unique feature of Kaga Yuzen is in its coloring and patterns. The coloring is made of 5 principals that are indigo, cochineal, yellow ochre, grass and Chilean purple, and it looks very rich but calming. The patterns are shapes of things seen in nature, and they are very colorful. These pictures are very realistic, richly showing the beauty of nature itself. Japan's beauty, "Tateyama - Kurobe Alpine Route": The route for crossing the Northern Japan Alps by various means of transportation. You can enjoy traversing the Tateyama - Kurobe Alpine Route's " World above the Clouds" Japan's Treasure: Shirakawago Shirakawago, which is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, is famous for its unique architecture. The farmhouses are built in an architecture style called gasshozukuri, as the houses' steep roofs resemble two hands folded for a prayer. The massive construction is required for the houses to withstand the large amounts of snow falling in the region during winter. Nagoya - Gero Hot Springs (B.D) Breakfast at hotel. Please leave your main suitecase at the lobby. Your main suite case will be sent to Kanazawa (1 piece per person). You will be taking local train for Nagoya City tour, visiting Nagoya Castle. Lunch on your own at Nagoya Station.After lunch board train to Gero Hot springs.

Express Bus to Shirakawa Go.
Then, you will be visiting Shirakawa-go gasshozukuri. Shirakawa-go is situated at the foot of Mt. Haku-san, a mountain in the northwestern part of Gifu. It is a quiet village among the hills surrounded by mountains, with rice fields and a river running through it. About 110 houses with steep rafter-roofs stand next to each other, and UNESCO registered the whole of Shirakawa-go as a World Heritage Site in 1995.

Dying your own Handkerchief as one of Hands-on Activity! Sushi lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, 21st Century Museum of contemporary of Art, and Himi Fishermans Warf. Japanese Kaiseki Dinner at your Ryokan.

Himi - Tateyama - Kurobe - Matsumoto (B.L.D)Breakfast at hotel. Board motor coach and proceed to Tateyama. (2hours). Full day Kurobe Alpen Route by chartered motor coach. Upon arrival, please get your valuables or what you need while traveling in Kurobe because your bus cannot drive into Tateyama mountains. (the same bus will pick you up at the oppsite of Kurobe Gorge).
Cable Car to Bijodaira.
Highland Local Bus to Muro Do.
Lunch at Hotel Tateyama.
Trolley Bus through Tateyama Tunnel.
After arriving Kurobe Dam, the same bus will pick you up at Ougisawa. Enjoy the spectacular view of the "World above Clouds". Proceed to Matsumoto. Dinner at your hotel.
